See what an answer is based on.

Aletora is an open-source platform that answers questions from internal documents — policies, procedures, contracts — while keeping the passage, version state, and context of every answer in view. Run on your own infrastructure.

Pre-release: the source code will be published under the EUPL-1.2. The repository is not public yet.

What stays visible

Not just an answer. Its basis.

The view is made for review: not just reading an answer, but placing its source and state in context.

01

The passage

The relevant excerpt remains beside the answer instead of disappearing into a long results list.

02

The document state

Version, page, and state give the team a clear starting point for further review.

03

The context

Related sources remain within reach when one passage does not answer the whole question.

A route to review

The decision stays with the team. The context stays reachable.

Aletora supports professional review. It does not make regulatory decisions or replace approval.

01

Ask the question

Start with the concrete question, not a file path or an unwieldy folder structure.

02

Inspect the basis

Read the answer with the passage and document state it points to.

03

Review responsibly

Professional judgment and release decisions remain with your team.

Open source

Built in the open. Run on your own terms.

Aletora is developed as an open-source project, not a hosted service. There is nothing to sign up for here: you deploy the software yourself, and your documents never leave your infrastructure.

Self-hosted

Runs on your own infrastructure, optionally with locally served language models. Documents and questions stay on your systems.

EUPL-1.2

Licensed under the European Union Public Licence — a recognised copyleft licence that also covers provision over a network.

An inspectable stack

Python and FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Qdrant, and a React front end, with local LLM inference. No black box.

Pre-release

The repository is not public yet. Leave a message and we will let you know as soon as the source opens.

Where it fits

A shared basis when questions cannot wait.

Aletora is for teams whose internal knowledge needs to remain traceable and available in the right context.

Quality

Inspect procedures, evidence, and supporting documents where the question arises.

Compliance

Read governing content with its related document state and context.

Operations

Make recurring questions from internal knowledge easier to assess.
